In search of the perfect wave and an endless summer, I transferred offices from CHI to JAX. Working at a small web development company, I have learned much, continuing my education through active listening, persistent curiosity and research. Both, the tech industry and the surf have given me a drive to keep learning. Why my name, Mike Tise is short for Michael Thiessenhusen, is part of keeping communication as simple and effective as possible.
The curiosity of digging deeper while building off of comparisons to find the differences and similarities between ideas and functionalities allow thoughts to become reality. I have a rich understanding in the process of website development responding with questions to gain insight on the full perspective. Much like riding a wave and eventually knowing how it’s going break, I provide the knowledge needed for a controlled chaos environment. This outlook on the bigger picture has allowed me to focus on the building blocks of each stage which make up the whole.
Earning a Bachelors Degree, achieving a major in Digital Studios and a Minor in Art History, has supplied the foundation of making things “look great!” Past experiences with a combination of life guarding and valet parking has provided me with advanced customer service skills as well as the respect for water and life. Standing in the front-line of project development cycle, I maintain communications with the client through the stages include: HTML/CSS, SEO/SEM, Support Line Specialist and knowing when a job is 100%.
